Over the years, Simple Shelter has been asked to replace roof covers on a number of existing shelter structures made by other suppliers, where the original manufacturer has been unable to supply replacements themselves. We recently re-covered one of these structures in Morrinsville, and in spite of the fact that very little detail was available regarding cover sizing and design, the replacement cover fitted perfectly.
The structure was in use as a fertiliser storage shelter, and it was important that the fertiliser was kept dry and out of the weather at all times. Simple Shelter’s installation team came up with an innovative solution – fitting the new cover over the old one, before cutting the old cover free. Replacing the cover in this sequence guaranteed that there was no chance for the stored fertiliser to be exposed to the elements.
